Some Facts on Enagic  Ionizers

The Plates: Enagic  Ionizers use solid ionization (electrolysis) plates that are made of medical grade platinum and titanium. There are multiple ionization plates on all Enagic water ionizers, but the home models have plates measuring around 4.75” X 7”. The total surface area of the plates of a 7-plate model is 465.5” square inches. The fact that the plates are solid and stamped, instead of meshed metal, allows them to last and operate efficiently much longer than other types of water ionizers.

The Power Source: The electrolysis plates on Enagic water ionizers are supplied with a continuous 230 watts of power. Since the plates are pure titanium and platinum, they will never overheat, melt or degrade due to the power flowing through them.

Cleaning & Servicing: Enagic water ionizers use a cleaning cartridge use for periodic deep cleaning. This keeps the ionization system free from any scaling, which typically occurs with any type of water system. The unit can also be disassembled and cleaned by any of its service locations. Unlike many other water ionizers, Enagic does not seal any part of the unit permanently. Enagic water ionizers can be completely disassembled by an Enagic technician, serviced, cleaned, and reassembled, after which they undergo a 22-point quality assurance inspection.
