The truth is ionized water is based on science, and what we know about the human body. Ionized alkaline water is not going to cure your stage 4 cancer, but it can reduce the chances of you developing diseases and illnesses, and it will slow down the aging process by fighting oxidation.
Water Scams Debunked
There has been a lot of talk about “Kangen Water”, saying that it is a sales gimmick, that the product doesn’t work, that is mislabeled and so on. Here is the truth: Kangen is a company that sells water ionizers. They want their name to be synonymous with alkaline water since alkaline water has so many benefits. So, in an effort to increase their brand recognition, they called the alkaline water their ionizers produce “Kangen water”. It is the same thing as calling all plastic food wraps “Saran Wrap”, or all bandages “Band-Aids”, or all pain relievers “Tylenol”. “Kangen water” is just a marketing ploy by one company, but this should not be a reason to ignore all water ionizers.
The marketing strategies employed by some companies have also been painted negative by the competition. This is the one of the most popular “ionization water scams” that you’ve heard about, it is called Multi-Level Marketing, or MLM for short. The way an MLM works is it employs sales people who sell the product, but also recruit other sales people under them. All the sales people receive a commission on the products they sell, and a smaller percentage on any of the products their recruits sell. The recruit’s network of family and friends are targeted through word of mouth by someone they trust. The sales people will hold meetings and events to gather people, and then pitch their product. This is very common in almost every industry, from baby products, to intimate products, the financial investments and insurance, to beauty products, and now water ionizers.
The marketing strategy of an MLM may not agree with many people, but this should not be the single reason why you would refer to all ionizers as ionized water scams. If that were the case, then you could argue that all makeup products are scams, even though they are sold in retail stores just like water ionizers.
What about H3 in ionized water scams? This is a bit of a tricky one. Water is made up of two Hydrogen molecules, and one Oxygen molecule, or H2O. When you add an extra Hydrogen molecule you get what we call Hydronium. Drinking this may sound like a good idea because it does have extra electrons, but when Hydronium is broken down in the body, those extra electrons holding the additional hydrogen molecule are released, but then you have a Hydrogen molecule roaming around which can have negative effects. You should really stick to ionized water that has extra electrons, not extra Hydrogen molecules.
Water Scams – Competitors Build False Trust
Many of the websites that that claim ionizers are ionized water scams, say that ionized water has no effect, and that these are just ionized water scams, are actually trying to sell you something else, like a water filter. This is a very poor marketing approach called “Trashing The Competition”, which is a feeble and halfhearted attempt at promoting their own product.
Then there are some websites that make it seem that they are trying to protect you from getting scammed, trying to build a sense of trust by pointing out flaws, and then try to sell you something else. Some of these websites go as far as saying “if you see any salesperson or website making health claims about ionized water to tell the authorities”…but then if you look at the rest of that same website, they are trying to sell you all types of water filters! Trashing the competition is not an honest approach, and you should never do business with companies or people who use that approach.
Ionized Water Scams – Fact or Fiction
It is a fact that most of have acidic bodies due to our lifestyles. It is a fact that we must balance the acid/alkaline levels of our bodies. It is a fact that alkaline water with a negative ORP donate electrons to oxygen free radicals, slowing cell deterioration. It is a fact that ionized water can reduce the amount of toxins and acid waste in our bodies.
Ionized water is part of a healthy lifestyle, and that is the most important thing you should remember when you hear about ionized alkaline water. Healthy living is…well, healthy! Ionized water is a preventative measure against illnesses and disease, plus it can help to restore the acid/alkaline balance of your body. If your body is out of balance, your health will suffer. If acid and alkaline are the two weights on that scale, and the scale is tipping to the acid side, you must either decrease the amount of acid, or increase the amount of alkaline to level the scale out…that’s it. It’s all about balance.
Let’s be honest here, ionized water is not going to cure cancer, cure your diabetes, or stop global warming. Anyone who makes these types of outlandish claims is just trying to sell you something. That doesn’t mean you should discount the benefits of alkaline and acidic water, and refer to them as ionized water scams.
The bottom line here is that ionized water is beneficial for you, for your health and for your general well being. Read more about the benefits of ionized water, and learn about alkaline and acidic water, and make up your own mind…don’t simply believe what people tell you. Basically, ionized water is NOT a scam, but don’t believe me, do some reading on your own, look at the facts and not just what people are saying. Look at the research and scientific studies and draw your own conclusions and decide for yourself if alkaline water is healthy or if all those ionizers are Ionized Water Scams.
